Employees at a Tennessee restaurant found video of child rape and sexual abuse on a football coach’s cellphone after he left the device at the restaurant. The information comes from the USA Today newspaper.
After examining the cellphone, Franklin police said they found “hundreds of disturbing videos and photos,” including videos of the man abusing “unconscious boys.” The trainer was arrested for raping and sexually exploiting a minor.
Police estimate that at least ten children between the ages of 9 and 17 were drugged, raped and filmed by the man identified as Camilo Hurtado Campos. “Investigators are expected to bring several additional charges. “Police are hoping those familiar with Campos can help them identify the faces of the remaining victims,” the Franklin Police Department said.
The coach recruited local school children and tried to convince them to join his football team. “After gaining their trust, Campos invited many of the children to his home, where he drugged and then raped them,” police said. Authorities are working to identify new human victims.
