The body headless of a child was found this morning, Tuesday 11 July, on the beaches of the Spanish coast in the Eastern Province Tarragon. The macabre discovery was made by a city cleaner. The man immediately called the police.

According to initial information, the body could be that of a young migrant. In addition to the head, other body parts of the child, who would be two to three years old, would be missing. It would have been washed ashore by the current. The municipality has urged citizens to stay away from the area. “Agents are waiting for the judge to authorize removal of the body,” we read.
Tourists and local residents were taken elsewhere after the discovery. Roda de Bera, where the small body was found, is 25 minutes drive north of Tarragona. Barcelona is just over an hour’s drive north.
