  • Jack Ryan – The Inauguration (Action Thriller) Airing 20th at 9pma Kenneth Branagh film starring Chris Pine, Keira Knightley, Kevin Costner, Kenneth Branagh, Colm Feore, Gemma Chan, Nonso Anozie, Karen David and David Paymer.

    The plot of the film: We meet again with Ryan, an American soldier who escapes a plane crash while on duty in Afghanistan. During his rehabilitation he meets Dr. Cathy Muller, a beautiful, life-changing young woman who attracts the attention of a CIA agent named William Thomas Harper. Ten years pass and Jack is now working for the CIA, using the cover of a financial advisor to keep tabs on suspicious financial transactions. During this mission, he notices the disappearance of large amounts of money – held by Russian organizations – that could seriously damage the American economy. Ryan is therefore forced to travel to Moscow to investigate Viktor Cherevin, the chief administrator of the missing funds and a client of the company Jack works for.
    Harper will be there to help with the investigation, and Ryan explains the impact it would have on the US financial system if Cherevin suddenly started putting money back on the market…

  • predator (Action) Broadcast on Rai 4 at 9:20 p.ma film directed by John McTiernan and starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Carl Weathers, Elpidia Carrillo, Bill Duke, Jesse Ventura, Sonny Landham, Richard Chaves, RG Armstrong, Shane Black and Kevin Peter Hall.

    The plot of the film: A helicopter aboard the minister of a country allied with the United States is shot down in the jungle of Val Verde, a place between Central and South America. General Philips and CIA agent George Dillon summon Major Alan “Dutch” Schaefer, Dillon’s friend and former Vietnam War comrade.
    Dutch’s mission is to locate the helicopter and proceed to rescue the minister, who is believed to have been captured by anti-government guerrillas stationed in the area. Dillon tells the Major that he too will be in charge of the mission, and the Major is forced, albeit with some reservations, to accept the orders. The next morning, the mission team is transported and dropped off in the jungle near the helicopter crash site.
    The group manages to locate the plane and crew, only to find they’ve all been killed, skinned, and fixed upside down…

    The plot of the film: Gabriele, a former rocker turned musical instrument dealer, divorced, is a caring father who is solely focused on his 10-year-old daughter.
    When friends introduce him to new women, he keeps talking about his daughter, thereby closing every opportunity.
    One day, Mara reappears in Gabriele’s life, a friend he hasn’t seen in several years and who has since blossomed into a dynamic and independent photographer.
    On their first date, right at the climax, Mara Gabriele reveals that not only does she not want to have children, but that she hates children. Overcome with passion, Gabriele denies the existence of Sofia.
    From that moment on, Gabriele’s days are a succession of absurd maneuvers, to hide his daughter’s presence from Mara and vice versa, to the rearrangement of his own apartment each time, depending on which of the two will visit him. Obviously lies have short legs and Gabriele’s staging will be short-lived….

    The plot of the film: John Ottway is a sniper hired on an Alaskan oil rig to protect the crew of workers from the wolves in the area. On their last day of work, Ottway and the workers are caught in a snowstorm on their flight home and the plane crashes into a patch of snow and ice in far north Alaska. Only Ottway and the six team members survive. Ottway immediately realizes they are in a place so remote that no search party will ever find them, and suggests to her companions that they set out the next morning and head south. During the night, however, one of the survivors is killed by wolves without the others noticing.
    The next morning the shock is great and Ottway is sure that he is in the wolves’ territory, which is why the animals are aggressive towards the intruders and try to kill them…
