The 80-year-old president disowned one of his granddaughters – who was born after Biden’s son Hunter had an affair with a former stripper named Lunden Roberts.
Biden infamously said earlier this year that he has “six grandchildren” — completely ignoring Arkansas-based Navy Joan Roberts, who is his seventh.
But his opponents, including those on the left, have criticized the president for his contradictory behavior. The resurfaced clip was released weeks before the 2020 election, on October 18.

Biden captioned it, “All my life I’ve had one rule: No matter what happens, no matter how important the meeting, I will always answer my grandchildren’s call.”
In the clip, he spoke to one of his grandchildren about missing her. He says, “I miss you too, angel.” Okay, I’m going home now. I’ll call you when I get back to Delaware. I love you baby, bye.’
But the comment has drawn criticism – many have pointed out that the comment was disingenuous as it disowned his granddaughter from Hunter Biden and the Arkansas stripper.
The six grandchildren Biden acknowledges are Naomi (29), Finnegan (22), Maisy (21), Beau Jr. (2), Natalie (18) and Robert “Hunter” (16).
One person wrote on social media in response to the clip: “Some restrictions may apply, offer not valid in the state of Arkansas.”
Another said: “All?” while others added: “All or just the six you acknowledge?”
A growing number of Twitter users chimed in, writing, ‘Is your seventh grandchild with you? Does she deserve a call?’ and “Ring ring.. Navy Calling.” Still no response.’
Another person added, “Except for a whole granddaughter. ‘What a wicked man.’
Biden’s recent critics included CNN anchor Dana Bash, who described the situation as “sad and troubling on so many levels.”

This comes just days after The New York Times published a scathing comment by one of its star columnists criticizing Joe Biden for disowning his granddaughter.
Maureen Dowd shared a letter written to Biden by her sister Peggy, a Republican voter who had previously been so taken with the current president that she voted for him.
But Dowd said Peggy was appalled by Biden’s refusal to acknowledge four-year-old Marine Joan Roberts, whose mother Lunden became pregnant after an affair with Hunter.
Dowd even suggested that the president’s behavior would result in the little girl being bullied at school, since “she’s growing up knowing that her father and paternal grandparents want nothing to do with her.”
“She’ll probably get to see a video or two of her half-sister Naomi getting married on the South Lawn and you and Little Beau watching the fireworks on the balcony.” And if she misses that, there’ll be plenty of schoolmates to follow her along remember that she was unwanted. This comes after Hunter Biden’s baby mum settled her bitter child support dispute with the firstborn, who vowed to meet her illegitimate daughter and play a role in her life, exclusively revealed last week.

Years of legal wrangling ended abruptly when 32-year-old Lunden Roberts agreed to cut Hunter’s $20,000 monthly payments and dropped her request to change Navy Joan’s surname to Biden.
The preschooler has never met Hunter and the Bidens have refused to count her as family – only six stockings represent the grandchildren and will be hung in the White House for Christmas.
Earlier this week, House Republican Conference Chairperson Elise Stefanik also criticized President Biden for not recognizing his seventh grandchild.
Stefanik, who proudly describes herself as the “newest mom” in Congress, told the President should have recognized Navy Joan years ago.
“Every American knows that Joe Biden should have done the right thing years ago and acknowledge ALL his grandchildren,” said Stefanik, RN.Y.
“It is cold, heartless, selfish and cowardly that the President of the United States can have neither love nor compassion for his beautiful granddaughter.” America sees this for what it is – an inexcusable shame.”
