Barry Bonds thinks he deserves to be inducted into the Hall of Fame

Barry Bonds is furious that he hasn’t been inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame yet.

The former Pittsburgh Pirates and San Francisco Giants star said so during his Hollywood Swingin’ podcast on Tuesday.

Bonds is the all-time leader in home runs (762) in major league history, but his reputation has been tarnished by steroid use.

“Do I mind? “Sure, I’m human,” said the 58-year-old. People have to understand something, and that’s that I was acquitted. I went to federal court and won my case.”

It’s been 10 years since Bonds was inducted into the Hall of Fame, but he’s always been snubbed. In his last election year he received 66% of the vote. However, 75% is required to be accepted into the prestigious pantheon.

Bonds was one of the most effective offensive players in major league history and was also very good on defense. He is the only player to have 500+ homers and 500 stolen bases. He also won eight gold gloves.
