Boris Johnson is father for the eighth time: Names of children and children the former Prime Minister has to remember rise to 24. The former Prime Minister and Carrie Symonds’ third child is named Frank Alfred Odysseus. The baby was born on July 5, according to a message from the same mother published on social media just today. Three names for him, too, given the eccentric allusion to even unusual names that BoJo, who completed his classical studies at Oxford in his youth, had given other children in the past: the brother’s name is Wilfred Lawrie Nicholas and the sister’s name is Romy Iris Charlotte.
“We are all delighted,” the former first lady wrote, announcing the happy event via Instagram. For Boris Johnson, who is known for his turbulent personal life, this is the eighth child recognized overall.
The architect of Brexit, who signed a golden contract as a Chron commentator after retiring from politics, has returned to journalism and indeed has had three marriages and an unspecified number of relationships over the years of his teenage journalistic debuts , both as Mayor of London and as Deputy or Member of the UK Government in a career that culminated in the post of Foreign Secretary and then Prime Minister. With his second wife, Marina Wheeler, a lawyer with whom he had the longest association, lasting some 25 years, he had four children (all now grown): Lara Lettice, Milo Arthur, Cassia Peaches, and Theodore Apollo. Another son was born to him in 2009 from an extramarital affair with the art expert Helen Macintyre, but he was not recognized until 2013.
