Australian actor Rob Collins has announced that he is ready to join the Marvel Universe.
And the character the 43-year-old indigenous would like to play most is Eden Fesi, aka Manifold, from the comic series The Avengers.
Eden Fesi is Marvel’s first Australian Aboriginal superhero and the character is little known as he has yet to make his film debut.
In a new interview with industry blog TV Tonight, the ‘The Wrong Girl’ actor says he’d love to play a villain too.
“I would love to be a villain in the Marvel Universe.” That would be cool. Villains are always fun.

Rob rose to fame in the 2016 Channel 10 hit The Wrong Girl (pictured above left).
“But if I were to do something long-form, there would actually be an Australian Aboriginal Marvel character that not many people know about.” His name is Eden Fesi, and his character name is Manifold.
“I’m over the age limit to play him,” Rob admitted.
“But if you gave me a pat on the back, I’m sure they would make me look younger in the post.”
“I would put my hand up to play that character because it’s such a cool character and not many people know there’s an Australian Aboriginal character in the Marvel Universe.”
Rob added that Manifold has both a sidekick and an Aboriginal mentor who resembles famous Indigenous actor Jack Charles.
Making his debut in the 2009 Secret Warriors comic book, Manifold is a mutant who can alter time, space and teleport. He later appeared in the Dark Avengers and New Avengers comics.
Rob also starred in the ABC drama Cleverman and Seven’s RFDS. The popular and critically acclaimed actor also appeared in the AMC streaming hit “Firebite” (pictured) and Stan’s big-budget 1950s drama “Ten Pound Poms.”
