Jamie Foxx is clearly doing better after suffering a “medical complication” in April.

Although he has not been seen in public since his hospitalization, the Django Unchained actor was spotted returning a woman’s bag in Chicago on Monday. The son of the woman who lost her bag, Quan Ellis, filmed the actor after the swap and shared the clip on Instagram.
The video shows Jamie Foxx getting back in his car after returning the bag and waving and smiling to the group watching the scene. Quan Ellis claimed the 55-year-old actor found his mother’s bag and made sure to return it to her. “Mom lost her purse in Chicago today, Jamie Fox (sic) found it and brought it back to her and he said he feels good god is good,” the caption read.
The American star has been spotted several times in recent days. Jamie Foxx was spotted on a boat in Chicago on Sunday and playing golf on Monday.
The actor’s daughter, Corinne, announced in early April that he “had a medical complication” in Atlanta, Georgia, but said he was “on the road to recovery.” In May, she denied rumors that her father was unwell, claiming he hadn’t been in hospital in weeks.
