Last summer, the artist’s visit to the Plains of Abraham was cut short due to weather.

This year Claudia Bouvette set fire to the stage of the FEQ in the Parc de la Francophonie.

Along with TVA Nouvelles, the singer says she is grateful to have performed in front of hundreds of people.

“The festival-goers are engaged, it’s really valuable. Being able to put on a “show” in front of so many people. I think that’s really a great achievement,” she says on the phone.

Remember that the FEQ organization had to evacuate the site Tuesday night as a storm threatened to hit Quebec.

The Quebecois didn’t have to relive the disappointment of 2022 as a result, but says he has “sympathy” for the artists who were denied their performance during the hip-hop night.

“I have been given my salvation […] [j’avais] a bit sad for the other artists who couldn’t perform,” she recalls.

Given the circumstances surrounding the 2022 edition, the FEQ organization wanted to invite the Bromont artist back for the 2023 edition, she says.
