Simony stated that she was disappointed with A Superfantástica História do Balão Mágico, a documentary about A Turma do Balão Mágico (19821986) that was released this Wednesday (12). The singer, who was part of the musical group, confessed her dissatisfaction with the testimonials included in the production.
The artist commented on her Instagram profile. Simony said she was surprised by the production’s revelations. She reported that she was protected by family members during her childhood so that the negative effects of the group behind the scenes would not affect her. She was only five years old when she joined the Magic Balloon.
“I promise I’ll give my opinion on the documentary. I confess that many lines disappointed me that the people were scumbags. Testimonials from people who never knew me. This director who I have had the greatest affection for up to that point because my mother protected me from the horrible things he did to us,” he wrote.
“Unfortunately, my uncles and grandfather are no longer here to defend themselves. My apologies to you, I didn’t think you would do that with such a beautiful story,” he continued.
The artist didn’t reveal which moment of the production upset her so much. The Super Fantastic Story of the Balloon is available to stream on Star+.
