Largest business exchange ready in Angola

The 38th edition of the event will be held on July 18-22 in the Luanda-Bengo Special Economic Zone (ZEE) to contribute to business development, trade in goods and services and attract investment, Economy Minister Ivan dos Santos confirmed.

The exhibition will occupy an area of ​​24,000 square meters at the ZEE and will have the central theme of “Digital economy, the world’s new frontier,” the official said in statements to agency Angola Press (Angop).

As previously described, Filda-2023 will have representatives from 16 of Angola’s 18 provinces and 122 other countries including the United States, Brazil, Indonesia and the Czech Republic making their official debut.

Speaking on behalf of the organizing team, Arena Group CEO Bruno Albernaz highlighted the increase in direct and indirect participation in the fair, which will be attended by 38 service providers, Angop said.

Meanwhile, the President of the Board of the National Institute for Support to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, João Nkosi, stressed that the meeting will allow the launch of new products branded “Made in Angola”.

In 2022, the 37th edition of Filda took place from July 16 to 20 at the ZEE on an area of ​​21,000 square meters, bringing together around 630 exhibitors from 15 countries and welcoming more than 32,000 visitors, according to the media overview.

Since the first edition in 1983, the fair has been considered the main showcase here to showcase Angola’s capabilities and potential, boost national production growth and build new economic bridges, the report said.
