Alice and Olivia’s CEO, 44, shone at ‘Billionaires Summer Camp’, Allen & Co’s annual summer conference that brings together industry giants from around the world.

The annual Idaho event is known for hosting high-profile business deals, or at least being the site of the conversations they sparked.

The meetings take place behind closed doors, journalists are excluded from attending.

Moguls in attendance this year include embattled Disney CEO Bob Iger, Apple CEO Tim Cook, and OpenAI founder Sam Altman.

New England Patriots CEO Robert Kraft and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell were seen having lunch together during Wednesday’s conference.

Fashion mogul François-Henri Pinault was also spotted out at Sun Valley yesterday.

Mike Bloomberg, former New York Mayor and CEO of Bloomberg LP, was filmed leaving a morning meeting.

And Sheryl Sandberg – Meta’s former COO – smiled as she walked out of one of the workshops with her husband Tom Bernthal.

Bernthal is CEO of strategic consulting agency Kelton Global and a former NBC News producer.

However, this year’s celebrations are expected to be marred by an ongoing writers’ strike and the rise of artificial intelligence and streaming services.

One of the storylines featured this week comes from Disney boss Bob Iger, whose contract has now been extended through 2026.

Iger was spotted Wednesday walking to lunch wearing aviator sunglasses and a long-sleeved white T-shirt.

Another hot topic at the summit is also reportedly a recent federal court ruling in favor of Bobby Kotick, CEO of Activision Blizzard Inc., which aided the $69 billion sale of his company to Microsoft, according to Bloomberg.

Both Kotick and Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella are known to regularly attend the annual billionaires gathering.

And in the presence of David Zaslav, CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery, discussions about the future of struggling news network CNN will be kept in mind.

In the tech industry, meanwhile, executives are expected to meet with the US Department of Commerce. Gina Raimondo will speak about the $52 billion US Chips and Science Act, which aims to boost advanced domestic semiconductor manufacturing, a person familiar with the matter told Bloomberg.

And they will likely discuss ongoing negotiations to create a new Indo-Pacific trade deal to replace the Trans-Pacific Partnership that former President Donald Trump dissolved in 2017.

A first version of the agreement would have effectively undone member countries’ efforts to regulate tech companies, including on issues such as market dominance and privacy.

Tech leaders have also been lobbying government officials in recent months to ensure their interests are represented in the new deal aimed at curbing China’s influence in Asia.

“We have advocated very publicly for the Indo-Pacific economic framework to include strong digital commerce provisions that ensure digital technologies are widely accessible and support privacy, security and trust in data flows across borders,” admitted Google spokesman Jose Castanada.

The tech giants say the new deal should include many of the same provisions as those between the United States, Canada and Mexico, which they say support typical trade priorities like protecting American companies.

“This is not about helping the biggest firms or helping tech companies, but rather about ensuring a regulatory environment between key trading partners that empowers a wide variety of businesses as most rely on digital services and tools to thrive in the marketplace global competition,” said Jonathan McHale, vice-president for digital commerce at computer and communications associations, told Bloomberg.

Trading group members include Amazon.com Inc, Google and Meta Platforms Inc.

Negotiations are currently underway in South Korea between representatives of the 14 countries to be included in the agreement.
