Limited Run Games announces Jurassic Park Classic Games Collection

We don’t know if John Hammond supported Limited Run Games in this, but the American company is preparing a compilation of two games from the famous franchise initiated by Steven Spielberg in cinemas: Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park Part 2: The Chaos Continues.

If we look in the rear-view mirror, we see that it’s half a surprise. The distribution company had actually published a teaser last Aprilsuggesting that something special was in the works to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the saga, whose first film was released in 1993.

To celebrate the event, Limited Run Games has planned 4 different editions, each with more or less interesting content, the details of which are as follows:

Classic Edition: (€64.99)

  • Physical edition of Jurassic Park: Classic Games Collection.
  • A steel book.
  • A box in the form of a VHS in the colors of Jurassic Park.

Standard editions of games on NES, Game Boy, SNES: (between €49.99 and €64.99)

  • Physical version of one of the two games on cassette.
  • Replica of the original manual.

Collector’s Editions on NES, Game Boy, SNES: (€99.99)

  • Physical version of one of the two games on cassette.
  • Replica of the original manual.
  • Double sided poster.

Prehistoric Edition: (€174.99)

  • Physical edition of the Jurassic Park Classic Games Collection.
  • A steel book.
  • A box in the form of a VHS in the colors of Jurassic Park.
  • A replica of the map of Dr. Alan Grant.
  • The soundtrack on CD.
  • Miniature recreations of the NES, SNES and Game Boy cartridges used in the games.
  • A case inspired by the packaging of Jurassic Park toys.

Jurassic Park: Classic Games Collection has no release date yet but will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. Pre-orders begin September 1st and end October 15th.
