Vicente Escrig, Simaria’s exhusband, revealed an allegedly troubled relationship between Simone Mendes and the artist’s mother, Mara Mendes. According to journalist Leo Dias, in his new book called Até Que A Mentira Nos Separe, the Spaniard told that the exmotherinlaw made several offensive remarks against the youngest daughter and disqualified her.
In the work, the businessman revealed that he had repeatedly seen Mara insult Simone in front of other family members as “ugly and fat”. “You give me fewer things [do que Simaria]’ she would have said. Escrig said he didn’t understand how anyone could stop such comments, including himself, who by that point had already made the decision to leave this “surreal family dynamic.”
Simaria’s ex also pointed out that the lady displayed abusive and extremely narcissistic behavior. “She had no problem declaring Rodolfa (the name Escrig uses to refer to Simaria) as her favorite daughter,” he wrote in an excerpt from the book.
In recent years, Vicente has observed that the former motherinlaw’s attitude has begun to affect Simaria and her relationship with her children. “Fish son, little fish is,” he provoked in the controversial publication.

In a recent interview with Leo Dias, the Spanish businessman revealed that the children don’t stay with a nanny for long. Without saying the problem was his exwife, Vicente noted that “no one can stand” working in the house she lives in for a long period of time.
Vicente and Simaria met when the artist was not yet famous. The two spent 14 years together and had two children: Giovanna, 10 years old, and Pawel, 7 years old. They split in 2021 and the artist even wrote a text at the time wishing Vicente all the best.
“Before the news gets out, I’ll tell you myself! I announce to everyone that my relationship with Vicente has ended after 14 years. “It was a wellconsidered decision with a lot of clarity,” he assured. “We had beautiful moments together, two wonderful children who are our greatest wealth. I pray to God that Vicente is very happy because he deserves it. I would like to thank everyone in advance for their support. “I intend to be even happier from now on, even without the man I loved so much one day,” she concluded.
