Young Slovakian Dalibor Dvorsky is beginning to hone his skills with the St. Louis Blues after the team picked him 10th overall in the National Hockey League’s (NHL) most recent draft, and club officials are already rubbing their hands in satisfaction.
The 1.85 meter tall hockey player attended the Blues’ development camp last week and seems to have made a great impression.

“He’s a great player with character and skills on both sides. As a skater under the age of 18 [NDLR : il a cet âge maintenant]He showed his skills as a goalscorer, made incredible moves while helping others around him. There’s a lot of potential here, I really liked the athlete,” Tony Feltrin, the training’s director of amateur recruitment, told NHL.com.
The Pivot showed his skills at last winter’s World Junior Championships, scoring three points in five games for his country. After recording six goals and eight assists for 14 points in 38 Allsvenskan league games between 2022 and 2023 with Swedish team AIK, he wants to be cautious for the rest of his career.
“We’ll see, I don’t have an answer at the moment. “I will do my best to get into the NHL as soon as possible,” he said. I feel good here, the atmosphere is pleasant, the people are pleasant. I also enjoyed the sessions. I like everything here so far.”
“I want to try to be myself and do my best when I’m on the ice,” he said.
Still in Sweden
Next season, Dvorsky will wear the jersey of IK Oskarshamn in the Swedish elite circus.
“Each guy goes in his own direction. I chose the one from this country and I’m happy. I think it’s good for me. I learned so much there. Certainly the challenge is real, but it’s always like that in hockey and I like that kind of mission.
