The second half of the 2023 season is just beginning, but it’s not too early to start thinking about next year.
MLB officially unveiled its full 2024 regular season schedule on Thursday, a day after it announced its international games as part of the MLB World Tour. After the Rays and Red Sox meet during spring training (March 9-10) in the Dominican Republic series, the Seoul series (March 20-21) will open the 2024 season, with the Dodgers and Padres making their first Play MLB games in Korea. The Mexico City Series (Astros vs. Rockies, April 27-28) and the London Series (Mets vs. Phillies, June 8-9) will also return in 2023.
Of course, there’s plenty to look forward to in the US and Canada as well. All 30 clubs are scheduled to play on opening day (Thursday, March 28) and the regular season will conclude on Sunday, September 29 with the 94th All-Star Game presented by Mastercard, taking place on July 16 at Globe Life Field in Arlington takes place.
Highlights along the way include two scheduled doubles games (Rangers at A’s on May 8, Rockies at Giants on July 27) and a special game in Birmingham, Alabama between the Cardinals and Giants at Rickwood Field, the oldest professional ballpark of the USA USA and former home of the Birmingham Black Barons of the Negro Leagues. Opening day: March 28th at Rays
