The 33-year-old model’s wife, who lives with the racer in California, has criticized British Airways, claiming its business class seats are “inoperative” and caused “major damage” to her Birkin bag.
Brittny shared a snap of another handbag currently on sale for nearly $23,000, saying her bag’s value has plummeted since the incident and she’s “pretty pissed” about it.
The mother-of-two, who owns interior design studio Stone & Button Design, posted about the ordeal on her Instagram Stories, writing: “@British_Airways your non-functional business class seat smashed/scratched my Birkin and caused a lot of damage, whereby the value has fallen sharply.’ It!’

Brittny owns a brown leather Hermes Birkin 25 crossbody bag that sells for at least $26,000, according to various sources.
The uber opulent bag is a timeless favorite and the likes of Victoria Beckham, Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner have been spotted carrying the handbag on a number of occasions.
Due to the limited availability and elite customer list, it is one of the most desirable bags in the world.
It seems that Brittny has a lot of Hermès bags as you can often see carrying them around on her Instagram account.
It is not known what flight she was on when the incident occurred, but due to the fact that she lives primarily in California and is now based in the UK, she and her husband were at the Goodwood Festival of Speed seen in West Sussex, England. Today it was likely that she was flying from Los Angeles to London.
British Airways’ website boasts that its business class seats are “spacious” and states that they “convert into a fully flat bed”.
Birkin bags are considered a better investment than stocks and shares because, unlike a new car or piece of jewelry, they appreciate in value the moment you buy them.

However, buyers need to be offered the opportunity to buy a Birkin or a Kelly – and in order to get that offer, they not only need to shop frequently from Hermès, but they also need to develop a relationship with a specific sales representative.
While a celebrity can circumvent the rules, ordinary people – even the rich – need to develop a relationship at their local boutique before they can snag a Birkin.
A Birkin bag bought direct from the store starts at $9,000 and can sell for $30,000 according to the Sotheby’s guide, with limited editions fetching even more.
Last year, a diamond-set 2021 Himalayan Birkin 30 sold for $450,000 at Sotheby’s.
According to legend, the Birkin was born when eponymous Jane Birkin, actress and lover of Je-t’aime singer Serge Gainsbourg, sat next to Hermes boss Jean-Louis Dumas on a flight.
