Vicente Escrig’s controversial book ‘Till the Lies Do Us Part’ was a hot topic! According to journalist Leo Dias, in the publication the businessman told details about his previous marriage to Simaria and an alleged tantrum of the artist. In the work, the Spaniard reports that his ex followed him and attacked him in front of his children.
The episode would have happened after Escrig took the children to have their hair cut, which was against Simaria’s wishes. At the end of a hard day’s work, she would have come home to find the new cut that she reportedly ended up disliking.
According to the book, Giovanna, 10, and Pawel, 7, had asked for some time to change their looks because the long locks were “uncomfortable on a practical and everyday level.” However, the singer liked that they left her hair long because she thought it looked better.
Later, when they saw their mother coming, one of the children ran up to show her the change, which Vicente said was not well received. “Next, unfiltered screams. The little one soon burst into tears because he didn’t understand […] Such a violent and harsh reaction,” he said in one of the paragraphs.

The Spaniard claimed that they rarely fought in the 14 years of their marriage. This would have been the first time Simaria had allegedly stalked him. “The party was served. Sad for the children, of course, who are always hit the hardest. […] Until she started hitting her husband out of nowhere,” he said.
“‘Rodolfa’ (pseudonym for Simaria) would, frustrated in front of her children, use the worst curses anyone could say,” Escrig concluded.
This isn’t the first statement the businessman makes about the singer or her family in the book. Vicente also revealed details of an allegedly troubled relationship between his exmotherinlaw, Mara Mendes, and his daughter, Simone Mendes. According to him, the lady made insulting remarks against the youngest and disqualified her.
Escrig also revealed that he had seen Mara call Simone “ugly and fat” in front of other family members on several occasions. “You give me fewer things [do que Simaria]’ she would have said.
