Kevin Spacey speaks in court for first time, responding to report of oral sex with sleeping man

This Thursday (13) Kevin Spacey gave his testimony during the trial he is facing in London, England on 12 counts of sexual assault. He spoke of a “close” and “somewhat sexual” friendship with one of the men who accused him and said he was “devastated” when he learned of the allegations. The boy opened up about the aggressive ways Kevin reacted, including unwanted groin touches. The information comes from the Associated Press.

“I never thought [o homem] that I knew 20 years later would stab me in the back,” Spacey explained. Four men have accused the Oscar winner of sexual assault, calling the encounters, which took place between 2001 and 2013, disturbing. One of the accusers even went so far as to label Spacey a “heinous sex offender.” He recounted an episode in which he fell asleep in the actor’s London flat. Upon waking up, the man would have seen Kevin performing oral sex on him.

Spacey denied that the relationship was not consensual. “It didn’t happen in a violent, aggressive or painful way. It was gentle and moving and, in my opinion, romantic. I really liked him. We had a lot of fun together. We laughed a lot,” he said.

The boy also testified that Kevin grabbed his crotch while driving. The act would have been so violent that the man almost lost control of the car. He told authorities he warned Spacey never to repeat the gesture. “That never happened,” the actor said. “I haven’t been on an Ascension Mission in all these years, I would never say that to anyone in my life,” he continued.

The whistleblower reported that he was kidnapped in 2004 or 2005 while driving to an annual Elton John event. Spacey then presented flight paths showing that he was filming in Australia. According to the artist, he only attended Elton’s event in 2001. The boy said he may have gotten the dates wrong, but he remembered the incident and that it was key to his departure.

The actor described their relationship as “melancholic” and went on to say the man is “funny” and “charming”. Kevin even admitted that he initiated physical contact but never responded after saying “no.” “I’m a big flirt,” he claimed. Even during his testimony, the artist gave details of what would have happened at the meeting. “He said things like, ‘This is new to me.’ So I think he might have been surprised by his reaction.” “The only thing he made clear was that he didn’t want to go beyond what we wanted and I respected that,” he said.

However, whistleblowers reported a “more intimidating” tone on the part of the artist. One of them said the advances were sudden, “like a snake striking.” “It wasn’t a caress,” he recalls. Spacey hit back, explaining that it was “crazy” to describe his touches that way. The actor also said that the boy keeps pictures of the two on social media.

The judgment

Kevin Spacey is on trial at Southwark Crown Court on 12 counts of sexual assault. Prosecutors said the trials of four men took place in the UK between 2001 and 2013 when he was living and working in London. One of the verdicts could sentence him to life imprisonment. If found guilty, the judge must hold a separate hearing to announce the verdict.

Christine Agnew, the prosecutor in the case, called Spacey a “sexual bully” who “enjoys making others feel powerless and uncomfortable.” The actor has pleaded not guilty to 12 charges, including causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent.
