The Laval Rocket will begin their next American Hockey League (AHL) season on Friday, October 13, and will also play their first four games at the Place Bell, announced Tuesday.
The circuit announced the contents of their regular schedule on Wednesday and head coach Jean-François Houle’s side will have an interest in winning quickly. Therefore, the Abbotsford Canucks will visit the Laval club in a series of two games in as many days to start hostilities. The following week, back-to-back games are scheduled against the Rochester Americans on October 18 and 20. After that, the missile will take the road to Belleville, where there will be a confrontation with the senators the next day.
During those 72 games, Laval will play a series of six away games from November 18 to December 2. The longest run of home games will last from March 6-15, 2024. Once again, partners Montreal Canadiens and Ottawa Senators have met a dozen times, including a first-leg series. -Return to close out the season on April 19 and 20. Eight meetings with the Toronto Marlies, the Maple Leafs’ farm club, are also on the schedule.
Western Conference clubs facing the Rocket include the Manitoba Moose and the Canucks. He will also play against six of the East Division’s eight teams. As before, he will avoid the Providence Bruins and the Charlotte Checkers.
