Barbie is the latest film to be banned in Vietnam for its depiction of the controversial ninedash line in China, which was overturned in a 2016 international arbitration award by a court in The Hague. China has refused to recognize the verdict.

In the afternoon of this Monday (11) however Conar himself lifted the ban applied to the trailer after the company responsible for the film announced that the Ministry of Justice and Public Security had granted a free age rating for the film and its trailers.
