President Biden stumbled again Thursday while climbing the steps to board Air Force One, although he used a less challenging, shorter stairway to board the plane.
The 80-year-old president made it about halfway down the 14-step stairway connected to the presidential plane in Helsinki, Finland, when he has committed a misstep and appeared to be preparing for impact before recovering quickly and reaching the aircraft’s lower entrance.
Biden turned and waved to onlookers at Helsinki-Vantaan International Airport as Air Force One prepared to depart for Joint Base Andrews after the President’s visit to Nordic leaders following a two-day NATO summit in Lithuania prepared.
