“There are ominous voices that are reviving the issue of destabilization, hate speech, intolerance of the attack on the Bolivarian National Armed Forces and the attack on the Venezuelan military,” the President stressed.
During his speech, Maduro lamented the recent loss of an Air Force pilot, whom he described as a martyr on duty and a victim of attacks against the FANB.
Likewise, he denounced that the Southern Command’s attacks are aimed at disparaging the professionalism, dedication, discipline and honor of the Venezuelan military as an expression of the contempt they feel towards the FANB.
“This contempt comes from the SOUTH command, which, although born in Venezuela, reproduces in its mind the ideology, hatred and contempt of the Empire. They are simple puppets raising hateful voices to divide and harm,” he stressed.
In this sense, he called for opposing the voices of hatred and for the voice of truth, unity, cohesion, absolute discipline and honor of the Venezuelan military to appear.
The Venezuelan President stressed the new spirituality brought about by the presence of the FANB as a fundamental part of the country’s identity, which is based on empathy, harmony and unity between the people and the military.
“This new value, already ingrained in the national soul, is the value of the unification and fusion of military power and people’s power: the fusion of the nation’s power in the perfect, unique and extraordinary civil-military union of Venezuela,” he said .
The head of state also called for defending Venezuela with honor and sacrifice and announced that his government would work with the people and the FANB to heal “the social wounds of the economic rockets launched by the North American empire”.
