Very simple: “Thanks to Eros (Ramazzotti, her first husband, editor’s note) I discovered Kyokushinkai, a kind of karate, for myself during the pandemic and have been practicing martial arts ever since, a hard full-contact sport that requires a lot of concentration.” But there is another reason behind this choice: “In the beginning I was driven by a desire to feel stronger and more confident, then I realized that this security has also become psychological.”
The little nephew
And in her spare time she is a grandmother. “For years I dreamed of Aurora giving me this gift, but when Cesare arrived, it was a more intense experience than I expected. It makes me infinitely tender to hold my little nephew in my arms. With him I have clearly felt the cycle of life moving forward, an event that represents the greatest blessing. It makes you realize what really matters. And to be clear: “Being called grandmother doesn’t annoy me, it’s a great pride for me, but it’s also good for me, also because I know I’m young.”
