EXCLUSIVE – Revealed: Ioan Gruffudd and Alice Evans’ teenage daughter LOSES domestic violence restraining order application against her father – friends of the actor say he is ‘very relieved’ with the outcome
The teenage daughter of Ioan Gruffudd and Alice Evans has lost her application for a domestic violence restraining order against him.
On Thursday, a judge in Los Angeles Superior Court dismissed an application by 13-year-old Ella after she filed documents on May 31.
Mr Gruffudd was present at the court hearing along with Ms Evans, as was the lawyer appointed to counsel for the minor last month.
The judge ruled, “The minor’s motion for a domestic violence injunction against the Complainant is hereby dismissed without prejudice.”
The decision comes three weeks after the teenager’s application to obtain a civil protection order against Mr Gruffudd’s actress and friend Bianca Wallace, who also has multiple sclerosis, was denied.

Friends of the Liar star says he’s “very relieved” with the result.
They also say the situation is a “nightmare” but are “pleased to see progress”.
Last month the judge also appointed a minors’ counsel – a court-appointed attorney representing the best interests of the child – to act for Ella and her younger sister Elsie, nine.
The publicized case has gripped the world of show business since the Welsh heartthrob left 102 Dalmatians star Ms Evans in 2021 after 14 years of marriage.
Last month Mr Gruffudd, 49, filed court documents accusing Ms Evans of setting up fake Twitter accounts to brand him and Ms Wallace as “child molesters”.
He also claimed Ms Evans yelled at him outside his Los Angeles home and called him a “fucking offender” and an “abusive prick” in front of Ella.

Mr Gruffudd also said Ms Evans once accused him of “taking my kids away”, called him a “fucking pussy” and “nasty” and called his mum “bad” – and told Ella that she was a didn’t want to see for a few days and yelled, “The babies can stand up for me or they can fuck off.”
In addition, he claimed Ms Evans told him, “I’m going to tell my lawyer you hit me last week.” It’ll be like Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. It won’t end well for you.’
Gruffudd also claimed Ella poured milk all over his and Wallace’s bed, wrote “f**” with a mustard bottle and squirted it all over the kitchen counter and floor.
He has already issued a restraining order against his estranged wife, barring her from mentioning him on social media for three years.
The couple were declared legally divorced on July 3, two years after the actor filed for divorce after 14 years of marriage.
