American actor Kevin Spacey, who is on trial in London on multiple sexual assault charges, continued on Friday to deny the allegations against him, citing “consensual” and “romantic” relationships with some of the complainants.

The 63-year-old star, who has been on trial since late June, pleaded not guilty to 12 counts of sexually assaulting four men between 2001 and 2013, including from 2004 when he was director of London’s Old Vic theatre.
The four plaintiffs, who testified at Southwark Crown Court in London during the trial, recounted the attacks they allegedly suffered and the difficulties in denouncing the behavior of a star as influential as Kevin Spacey.
The actor, who appears to be free, continued to deny on the block on Friday. Questioned by prosecutor Christine Agnew, he spoke of “consensual interactions” with two of the applicants, one accusing him of assaulting him while driving and the other alleging being “drugged” and assaulted while driving snooze
On the latter: “I don’t know who made the first move, but we were in an amicable romantic situation together,” said Kevin Spacey.
“He did not fall asleep and I did not perform any sexual act on him while he was sleeping, despite the shocking allegations he made to me,” he added, citing the prosecutor’s file as “weak.”
Kevin Spacey also claimed that a third plaintiff “made up his story from start to finish” by accusing the actor of forcibly grabbing his crotch.
When Kevin Spacey first spoke at the trial Thursday, he had already denied any “violent,” “aggressive,” or “painful” behavior.
He had opened up about mutual flirtation, calling himself a “big flirt” and saying he was “broken” by the allegations.
When the first allegations surfaced in the US in 2017: “I lost my job, I lost my reputation, I lost everything in a few days,” Kevin Spacey said on Thursday.
Actor Anthony Rapp accused him of sexual touching at a party in 1986 and found him not guilty in a New York civil court last October.
