When we tell you about the first look at a vehicle, it’s usually because the manufacturer shared pictures of it. However, that is not the case here as the model shown was seen by an amateur and shared on the Tacoma4G.com forum.
We got a chance to see the Tacoma up close at an event in Hawaii in May, but one of the versions that will be in the catalog was missing, the TRD Off-Road. It is the cheapest version of the model, which is designed for off-road trips. Therefore, it is popular among amateurs.

The new Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road 2024
The TRD Off-Road version is positioned similarly to the TRD Sport variant, but places more emphasis on off-road capability than sportier driving on asphalt. As such, it has a number of features including similarly sized fender flares, front grille, fog lights, LED headlights with a tinted finish, as well as black logos.
And it offers unique style features.

This version is also equipped with a number of other features not visible in the photos but revealed by Toyota. For example, there are Bilstein shock absorbers with a separate reservoir designed for off-road use. It also offers selectable driving modes depending on the terrain. 17 or 18 inch rims are available, which can be fitted with 33 inch tires. As an option, the off-road version can be equipped with an electronic system for disconnecting the front anti-roll bar, which gives more opportunities when driving off-road.

As with the Sport variant, the TRD Off-Road livery is only available in the 4-door cab configuration. It comes standard with the 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, a block that develops 278 hp and 317 lb-ft of torque with the eight-speed automatic transmission, or 270 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque with the six-speed manual. which is offered as an option. This Tacoma can be outfitted with the 2.4-liter turbocharged hybrid four-cylinder that develops 326 hp and 465 lb-ft of torque. The model also benefits from coil spring rear suspension.
Like the other 2024 Tacoma models, the non-hybrid models will be available by the end of the year, while the hybrid variants will arrive in early 2024. Pricing announcements for the 2024 Tacoma variants are pending.
