Accident with a rented Lamborghini: Six injured, including four teenagers, on the way to their ball

Six people, including four teenagers, who were in a rented Lamborghini with a young adult to go to their prom, had to be taken to the emergency department after a violent altercation with an English Post office valve.

“I can confirm that although there have been injuries among our students, fortunately there have been no fatalities. “That was confirmed to me this morning by the Metropolitan Police,” the headmaster at Stepney All Saints School said in an email to parents, as reported by The Mirror on Thursday.

Two days earlier, a blue Lamborghini Urus valued at £187,000 (about $321,500) was involved in a serious collision with an English Post valve in Beckton, east London, in the early evening.

According to images of the stunning collision shared on the internet, the accident happened as the driver of the sports car, driven by a man in his mid-forties, tried to overtake in the oncoming lane before hitting the valve.

According to British media reports, it was a man in his 20s who was driving the Lamborghini to accompany the teenagers to their prom.

“All six people were taken to hospital where their injuries were assessed as non-life threatening. There have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing,” a Metropolitan Police spokesman reportedly told The Mirror.
