WWE Smackdown Report 7/14 Jey Uso attacks Sikoa and Heyman; Asuka defends against Belair PRWrestling

Jey Uso Heyman

Smackdown began with Bianca Belair presenting ahead of her match against Asuka for the WWE Women’s Championship tonight.

Bianca said she was very patient to return for a championship rematch, but today is the day.

Then Charlotte came in to interrupt her and tell her in the kindest words that she believes Bianca will be the winner at the end of the evening. This is something he desires, but if Bianca defeats Asuka, her turn will be next. And have no doubt about it. Challenge that Bianca accepted at SummerSlam.

In the end, they both shook hands, almost taking today’s result for granted… a situation Asuka observed backstage.

Pretty deadly on Sheamus and Ridge Holland when Elton Prince entered Ridge Holland with an unprotected cornerback and then finished with a leg drop off the top rope.

Bayley defeated Zelina Vega in a short fight. Zelina attacked Bayley with a flip flop, but then Bayley threw her to the canvas with a Rose Plant.

After the match, Bayley started poking fun at Shotzi’s lock of hair, which she cut off last week… but Shotzi emerged on the big screen to tell her she was in control while giving an unbalanced laugh.

Jey Uso appeared in the ring to comment on Jimmy’s situation after the attacks he suffered last week. Jey rushed at Roman and told him that he was dealing with the real chief, Main Event Jey Uso.

But Jey was interrupted by Paul entering alongside Solo Sikoa. Paul announced that Jey and Roman would face each other next week. He also tells him that he understands his anger and thirst for revenge but not to look at anyone but himself because everything that happened to Jimmy was his fault for standing up to Roman Reigns. He also told him that he doesn’t know how to forgive himself, neither does his brother, his father or mother and neither does Roman Reigns.

Then Solo Paul took the microphone off. He just told her that he would never forgive Jey either. And then the attacks began. Jey passed Solo and even landed a superkick on Paul. Jey even threatened to attack Paul with a metal chair, but Solo got in in time to dodge it, despite being the one who ended up getting the chair.

Santos Escobar took the win in the first Fatal 4 Way en route to a shot at the US Championship.

AJ Styles had an opportunity to claim the win by executing Butch with a Styles Splash. But before he could make the move, Karrion Kross appeared on the giant screen and attacked Gallows and Anderson, taking the Phenomenal out of the match. Waller tried to capitalize on the moment with a rolling stunner on Butch, but eventually it was Santos who ended the fight with an iron on Waller.

Santos still has to face off against Fatal 4 Way winner Rey Mysterio, Cameron Grimes, Sheamus and LA Knight next week to get the starting gun.

Bobby Lashley reappears on the program after weeks of absence and he’s doing it to meet up with the Street Profits… They’re up to something.

The WWE Women’s Championship match between Asuka and Bianca Belair resumes. Towards the end of the game, Bianca executed Asuka with a KOD on the commentary table. And from there, chaos ensued. Bayley and IYO attempted to trade the situation, but Charlotte stepped in to stop them.

However, Charlotte eventually attacked Bianca with a spear after IYO dodged him, ending the match via DQ. Then IYO and Bayley attempted to close the deal. While IYO was preparing the moonsault, Bayley handed the briefcase to the judge to make the official exchange, but Asuka attacked her with a Blue Mist and escaped the ring.
