The information was released by the NY Post newspaper, which had access to the criminal complaint in the case.

According to the disclosures, Sophia was worried about the client during the message exchange. “Do you really need them? I don’t want to kill you. I don’t want to deliver them because you don’t have a doctor’s prescription,” wrote the merchant known as the “Princess of Percocet.” Percocet is an opioid analgesic that is also taken as a medication.

Leandro De Niro, the grandson of legendary actor Robert De Niro, then asked if the pills were heroin or fentanyl before agreeing to purchase three oxycodone pills and two Xanax for $105 (about 500 reais, in the current conversion), a source told the newspaper.

The pills were delivered by car service at 21:30 on July 1st. At 2am Sophia sent another message to the customer asking if everything was ok but he never replied. Leandro was found dead in his apartment on July 2nd.

Police then launched an undercover operation in which undercover officers bought more than 50 banned pills from Sophia for over $1,000. The drug dealer was arrested at her home on Thursday with 156 pills and more than $1,500.

Sophia is being held without bail and faces up to 60 years in prison.
