The weekend will end in fairly gray weather as there is a risk of thunderstorms and showers across Quebec. Humidity remains unchanged and shows a very high humidity factor for several sectors.
Fortunately, after a hectic week, Quebecers don’t have to reckon with the severe weather of last Thursday.
As for Montrealers, the risk of thunderstorms is higher in the morning, with a 60% chance of precipitation. The Humidex factor will raise the temperature by up to 34 degrees, according to Environment Canada forecasts.
Afternoon thunderstorms may be more frequent in the Laurentians, with a lower percentage of showers (40%). With the Humidex factor, the weather will be cooler at around 25°C.
The Outaouais will be the region hardest hit by the rains, to the point where Environment Canada has issued a rain warning. The showers will be heavier in the morning, with the Humidex factor even higher than in the metropolis with a temperature of 35 degrees.
There will be more showers around noon in the Capitale-Nationale region, with a temperature close to the 30 degrees measured by the Humidex.
For the residents of Abitibi-Témiscamingue and L’Estrie, there is a 40% risk of rain in the morning with a rainy temperature above 30 degrees.
Rain will arrive in Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean later, in the early evening. Her northern neighbors can expect rain, drizzle and colder weather that will drop below 20 degrees, particularly in the Baie-Comeau and Sept-Îles sectors.
Baie-James is still a victim of forest fires. Environment Canada is currently issuing a poor air quality warning.
