In the soap opera Vai na Fé, Theo (Emilio Dantas) takes an unexpected step after receiving a call from Rafa (Caio Manhete) about the fake kidnapping. Scenes in the episode will air this Monday, July 17.
After receiving a call from Rafa about the fake kidnapping he, Kate (Clara Moneke) and Hugo (MC Cabelinho) staged, Theo is distraught and contacts Clara (Regiane Alves) to decide what to do about his save son.
The villain’s exwife is against calling the police as she wants to follow the alleged kidnappers’ demands closely, while Theo doesn’t give in to the blackmail and calls the officers.
“What is that? did you call the police The bandits said they would kill Rafa!” Clara scolds. “I will not be blackmailed. These people can kill Rafael by calling the police or not. I don’t do business with criminals,” explains Theo.

The police advise Clara and Theo to keep in touch with the bandits to gather as much information as possible without trying to negotiate the ransom.
Rafa’s parents collect the money demanded by Kate and Hugo and go to the agreed place to pay the ransom for Rafa’s fake kidnapping.
Trusting that they will be taken care of, the young trio are surprised when the police arrive. Rafa will keep trying to use his victimhood to free Kate and Hugo from the police, but it will be too late.
