The order applies from July 17, 2023 to July 28, 2023, from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. During this period, any navigation, parking, anchoring of ships, equipment and watercraft, fishing, swimming, diving and any other nautical activity in the area determined by the geographical coordinates specified in Article 2 of the Decree are prohibited.

Urgent Notices to Seafarers (AVURNAV) are issued announcing these prohibitions.

Government ships and watercraft and ships duly authorized to operate in the Exclusion Zone are exempt from these restrictions.

These include the auxiliary ship “AMAYA” and the passenger ship that connects to the Îlet du Gosier, which still have to make the necessary arrangements depending on the development of the marine research campaign.

Any breach of this decree will be prosecuted and sanctioned in accordance with current legislation.
