Simony despises Ticiane Pinheiro in ‘Balloon Magic’ documentary and apologizes: ‘I was so mediocre’

Vixen! In A Superfantástica História do Balão, a documentary released by Star+ last week, Simony made a controversial comment by citing Ticiane Pinheiro, who she replaced in Balão Mágico when she decided to pursue a solo career. In her statement, Simony said she chose not to watch the scenes starring Ticiane.

The third episode of the series follows what happened to the members after the group which originally consisted of Simony, Vimerson Cavanillas, Jair Oliveira and Michael Biggs broke up.

“I was so stressed, so tired, that I left and Jair and the other girl were still there… Ticiane, right?! I think so,” he said, despising the Hoje em Dia host. The singer went it alone and was hired by Silvio Santos to host her own program on SBT. Meanwhile, Ticiane signed a deal with TV Globo to complete the season of the children’s show. In all, she recorded 70 editions of the attraction.

However, according to Simony, she wasn’t “afraid of losing her job.” “I haven’t seen any shows with her. For example: “I was scared of losing my job and scared to death of who would replace me?”. I never had that fear. “I was very sure of my charisma and my way of coming here,” he assured.

The artist also spoke about herself in the third person, declaring that she is “irreplaceable” in the hearts of fans: “She’s in everyone’s hearts. How are you going to take her out and say, ‘No, forget Simony, let’s create another Simony?'”.

In his statement, however, Ticiane Pinheiro was full of praise for the singer. In the report, the presenter recalled the joy of being compared to the idol. “I wanted to be Simony, and if people said I would look like that [com ela], for me it was the greatest luck in the world. I remember the test I did with Fofão (Orival Pessini). He played with me, I played, I was very happy. But I think I found recognition with that joke at the end. “When I got the news, it was the greatest joy in the world for me,” he said.

Ticiane also mentioned highlights of his time on the show and the “crush” he had for one of his colleagues. “I remember being crazy about Jairzinho too. Jairzinho said in the afternoon, “I’ll order a glass of milk and a hot mix.” I wanted to ask like him because Jairzinho asked. I didn’t even like regular milk, but I drank it because Jairzinho drank it,” he revealed. When asked by Notícias da TV, Tici said she would not comment on Simony’s controversial lines.

Excuse me

At the end of the week, after the release of the production and the negative impact of the comments, the singer took to social networks to publicly apologize to Ticiane Pinheiro. “When I made the documentary, I hadn’t gone through everything I’ve been through and am going through. I’ve had a year and a half of treatment [de câncer]. I found my words to Ticiane very rude and very ugly. I didn’t think it was cute, I wasn’t happy to have spoken like that,” he lamented.

“You are an amazing girl, you have your talent and forgive me for being so mediocre and ugly for what I told you. I’ve already sent you a direct message here, but I want people to know how nice it is to spot the bug. I was wrong. I’m not even the Simony from this documentary anymore.

Simony complains about testimonials

The singer recently admitted to being disappointed with the testimonials selected during the production of the documentary. In a post on Instagram, Simony explained that she has been “armored” by her family throughout her career and is therefore shaken by the discoveries gleaned from the series.

“I promise I’ll give my opinion on the documentary. I confess that many lines disappointed me that people were written. Testimonials from people who have never lived with me. This director was the one I had the greatest affection for until then because my mother protected me from the horrible things he did to us,” he wrote. “Unfortunately, my uncles and grandfather are no longer here to defend themselves. I apologize to you, I didn’t think you would do that because of such a beautiful story,” he added. Still, the artist didn’t mention which specific lines upset her.

In three episodes, the documentary series tells the story of the group “Balão Mágico” from its birth to the peak of its fame, with the right to even have its own program on TV Globo. Far beyond the success, the documentary also describes the negative behind the scenes of the exposure of the children and the disappointment at the end. The series also delves into the internal conflicts and financial differences between Simony, Vimerson Cavanillas, Jair Oliveira and Michael Biggs. Watch the trailer:
