A woman in Germany has been dubbed a “brutal blonde” by European media after stopping a climate activist from blocking traffic as the public’s patience dwindles with frequent protests on the streets.
According to a video released by an activist group, the video showed a woman yelling at a climate change protester to “stand up” for blocking a road in Bottrop, Germany.
The woman then grabbed the activist by the hair and dragged her to the side of the road.
When the girl came back to block the road, the German pulled her hair a second time.
The activist was slightly injured in the argument, said the police in Recklinghausen.
Police said they are reviewing videos and photos of the incident to determine whether a criminal case is needed against those who dragged the protesters off the street.
They also said the climate activists had been taken into custody.

Numerous videos recently posted to the activist group’s Twitter account show angry drivers getting out of their vehicles to yell at, verbally abuse and violently remove activists from the “last generation.”
Some drivers sped past the activists, knocking them over.
The activists’ methods also included taping their hands to the road so they could not be removed without firefighters knocking out the cement from under their hands.

According to a video circulated on Twitter, an activist screamed in pain as a helper tried to free his hand.
Activists from the group blocked air traffic at two airports on Thursday by taping themselves to runways in protest at pollution from mass transit, causing hours of delays and dozens of cancellations.
Hamburg has delayed, canceled or diverted a total of 46 flights, DW reported.

The protest came as the first day of school summer vacation began in the city.
“The last generation does not protect the climate, they engage in criminal activities,” said Transport Minister Volker Wissing.
This follows a similar protest in April, in which the group glued themselves to the streets of Berlin to block traffic to the Alps, once again attempting to thwart residents’ and travelers’ holiday plans.
“Rather than presenting a concrete plan to prevent this and meet the emission reduction target required by law, the Department of Transport is opting for ‘technological flexibility,'” the group wrote in a statement following the protests at the airport.
