Dak Prescott is determined not to be the worst in the NFL in this category

Dak Prescott’s next season won’t be as disappointing as the last, he predicts, especially when it comes to performance.intercept.

The Dallas Cowboys quarterback had 17 interceptions in 2022, an unfortunate personal best. That also puts him at the top of the NFL, level with Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills.

Prescott threw 15 shots in the regular season and had two more steals in the playoffs against the San Francisco 49ers.

“I’m not going to have 10 interceptions this year,” he promised in an interview with the Fort Worth Star-Telegram newspaper published Monday.

Obviously, the 29-year-old veteran is of the opinion that this value should not have been so high. Without blaming his teammates, he believes that she is not 100% his.

“I know who I am and you can spare me half of those interceptions. I’m not saying it’s necessarily the recipient’s fault, but if I had half of it we wouldn’t even be talking about it,” he said, citing a lack of communication.

The Cowboys appear to be on track with two straight seasons of 12 wins and five losses. Head Coach Mike McCarthy is building a good group, and Prescott says the young offensive line will be better equipped in 2023.

“The attacking players have to understand where we stand. Mike is doing a great job with these guys. They know where they need to be, why they need to be there, and when they’re being watched. It will make a big difference,” he said.
