Hockey fans who will see the film Oppenheimer In the next few days maybe one of the actors will recognize themselves.
In fact, former NHL nuisance Sean Avery has landed a role in director Christopher Nolan’s latest film.

According to the specialist website IMDb, the 43-year-old plays a meteorologist there. Since the film doesn’t hit theaters until Friday, we don’t know if the former ice hockey player will have lines in this film dealing with the development of the nuclear weapon.
This is also the second time Avery has starred in a Nolan creation. He played a soldier in Tenet, a 2020 film. However, it was difficult to spot him as his body was completely camouflaged.
The Ontario native has also appeared in the films Amsterdam (2022), Blackjack: The Jackie Ryan Story (2020), Spree (2020), 22 Miles (2018), Le jour des patriotes (2016) and Maurice Richard (2005) to the many short films in which he participated.
Avery retired from the NHL in 2012 after playing for the Detroit Red Wings, Los Angeles Kings, New York Rangers and Dallas Stars. He recorded 90 goals and 157 assists for 247 points in 580 games but notably received 1,533 penalty minutes.
