According to César Vivar’s journalist, Pedro Gallese confirmed some time later that the rumors weren’t just being blown up. The Peru goalkeeper said his representative informed him that something was up with Getafe, so it’s possible the matter could move forward if there was interest from those close to the player. However, Gallese was fully focused on his presence at Orlando City and then it all stopped.
“My representative told me there was something with Getafe, but at the time I was playing with Orlando I told him to let me know if there was anything specific. In the end it was there,” he said. Still, he didn’t rule out that he still aspires to play in Europe one day. “Since we were children we dreamed of being in Europe. I will keep working for this dream. From these statements it can be concluded that there was no strong interest on the part of “San Pedro”.

They have conceded 23 goals in total and are unbeaten in eight games. On the other hand, in 2023 he played the four friendlies of the Peru team, in which he scored a total of six goals.
