At least two people were wounded in renewed Russian rocket attacks on the Ukrainian Black Sea port city of Odessa, officials said.
“At dawn, the Russians fired Kalibr missiles from a missile cruiser they sent to patrol the Black Sea at night,” military administration head Oleh Kiper said on his Telegram channel today.
It was the fourth attack in the city of millions this week. According to the information, the attacks once again targeted granaries. Odessa was one of the ports through which Ukraine shipped grain under the International Grain Agreement.
Russia let that deal expire earlier this week. The bombing destroyed 100 tonnes of peas and 20 tonnes of barley, the head of the administration said. The explosion cut two people, Kiper said.
According to the Southern Office of the Ukrainian Army, there were two rocket attacks in Odessa. First, two rockets hit. As extinguishment and rescue work began, Russia fired another rocket, spokeswoman Natalya Humenyuk said on television. Fortunately, rescuers managed to get there safely in time.
