One of the most famous events in Brazil, the Fortal, which took place in Fortaleza (CE), was among the most discussed topics this Friday (21) after a circular video showing the trio of singer Luiz Caldas was shown on social networks.

In the images, the artist, considered the father of Axé music, appears playing on the electric trio, with no audience on the floor and no fans in the event’s boxes. The celebrities performed this Thursday (20), but the lack of people enjoying the sound drew attention.

Many netizens commented that sending the Caldas trio out first was disrespectful, especially since the audience still turned out to enjoy the event. “Rather than putting the independent trios last to gather people from all blocks, Fortal decided to put them first. The result is that Luiz Caldas sings for nobody. What’s the logic?” asked a follower who shared the video of Luiz walking down the catwalk.

Taking to social media, other Bahians and admirers of the singer have complained about the event, which will feature Ludmilla, Bell Marques and Parangolé, among others. “The party has been dead for a couple of years, but to name Luiz as the first one borders on unreasonable on the part of the organizers. Not allowed,” said another netizen. “It just goes to show that the respect for artists who have been in music for years is gone,” commented another.
