His speech is eagerly awaited. Emmanuel Macron will give an interview to France 2 and TF1 on Monday 24 July on the two New Caledonian channels’ 1pm news. The Head of State will answer questions from journalists Nathanaël de Rincquesen for France 2 and Jacques Legros for TF1 at the Nouméa duplex on where he will travel.
This interview follows the reshuffle of part of the government that took place on Thursday and after the head of state gave a first assessment of the “100 days” decided after the highly controversial pension crisis in the preamble to the Council of Ministers on Friday. Contrary to tradition, Emmanuel Macron did not give a speech on July 14.
