Former President of the Republic Michel Temer (MDB) this Saturday (July 22, 2023) shared a video with montages in which he wears pink clothes. On his Twitter profile he used a mesoclisis: “Barbiemeei”. The post appeared during the launch week of the American dollinspired film.
The song “Sou a Barbie Girl” by the successful singer Kelly Key in the 1st decade of the 2000s was playing in the background.
However, there was a change in the Emedebista’s post:
- Beginning of original song “Hello, Barbie. Hello Ken”;
- for Temer’s video “Hello, Temer. Hello barbie. Hello, Ken.”
Also, a remix of the 2023 film’s theme song, “Dance the Night,” was created by British artist Dua Lipa.

The official profile of the Colombian Presidency released a video with references from the film to invite the population to the “Celebration of Sovereignty” on Thursday (July 20, 2023). The date commemorates the country’s independence.
“On this July 20th, the government of change arrives in San Andrés. Let’s celebrate our sovereignty. We are waiting for you!” wrote the Colombian government in a video shared on the TikTok social network. Shortly thereafter, the video was deleted from the account.
