Mathieu Dufour dubbed his show “Beau temps, Bad Weather” and was determined to take to the stage at the Agora du Port de Québec on Friday night regardless of the weather, but that underestimated the power of Mother Nature.

His show had to be postponed to Sunday due to the risk of a severe thunderstorm.
This was announced by the artist’s PR team in a press release earlier in the afternoon.
“There are really more important people than me who made this decision, people from the Agora, people from the Old Port, because there is a risk of a thunderstorm, it would have been dangerous,” explains Mathieu Dufour on his Instagram account. It’s really out of my control.

“I find it really heartbreaking. The show was called ‘Rain or Shine’. We took the risk of performing in the rain. I know you would have started the journey with your ponchos and all, but it’s a safety issue,” he adds.
The comedian still wanted to quickly find a new date for his show.
“We could have just canceled the show, but we have decided to postpone it and it will be on Sunday night, it promises to be nice,” he continues.
Tickets purchased for Friday’s show are also valid for Sunday.
