Quarterback Aaron Rodgers turned to Dallas Stars forward Joe Pavelski for advice on a successful transition after a team change.

Last April, the Pivot traded from the Green Bay Packers to the New York Jets. The 39-year-old has spent 18 seasons with the Wisconsin club.

During his Friday press conference, Rodgers announced that he had spoken to and gotten the input from several of his friends in the professional sports world, including the National Hockey League veteran.

In 2019, Palvelski decided to leave the San Jose Sharks to join the Stars. He had played the first 13 campaigns of his career for the California organization.

“I’ve really enjoyed my conversations because a lot of them have been on the same team for a long time and made the transition,” Rodgers said.

The new Jets rookie also said he questioned former NFL quarterbacks Carson Palmer, Tom Brady and Peyton Manning on the matter.

Coming back to Pavelski, we wish Rodgers as much success with his second team as the American figure skater. For the Stars, the 39-year-old hockey player scored 94 goals and 146 assists for 240 points in 287 games. He also made the playoffs three times in four seasons.
