Sunday is the day of Xuxa! In TV Globo’s program “Domingão com Huck” this Sunday, July 23, the eternal queen of the Baixinhos comes to the stage for a reunion Pedro Bial. The journalist is the director of “Xuxa, O Documentário”, Original Globoplay, which recounts the story and more than 40 years of the presenter’s career.

This week, “Sunday with Huck” airs after “Football.” The program will be moderated by Luciano Huck, with overall direction by Clarissa Lopes and artistic direction by Hélio Vargas.

As a pop phenomenon, Xuxa has also found success in film and music, enjoying great popularity in Latin America, Europe and the United States. Comedian and friend Sérgio Mallandro is among the unreleased testimonials marking the new episode. He remembers Xuxa’s direct appearance before her professional projects, including the making of the film “Xuxa and Sergio Mallandro na Lua de Cristal”, a great success, in which they formed the protagonist couple.
“Xuxa called me one day and said, ‘Would you like to be part of the film Lua de Cristal?’ You will be my prince, okay?’. I said of course I’m willing… The film would be called Xuxa na Lua de Cristal and she called me at her house one day and asked if I would mind changing the name to Xuxa and Sérgio Mallandro na Lua de Cristal. Not only did I accept it, but I also confirmed that it was a trophy, a gift for me,” revealed Sergio Mallandro.
Xuxa, O Documentário, an Original Globoplay Series, is directed by Pedro Bial, directed by Cassia Dian and Mônica Almeida, and written by Camila Appel. The genre direction lies with Mariano Boni. The work is also available to Globoplay Internacional subscribers.
