Journalist Mari Palma (34), who has been separated from Phelipe Siani (38) since the beginning of the year, spoke about the divorce in a participation in Luciana Gimenez’s Bagaceira Chique podcast. She spoke of joint custody of the dog Chica and the division of assets after the end, which came after five months of marriage.
“We’re in the process of settling down now,” he explained. According to the journalist, shared custody is not a rigid model of a precise division of days, but a combination of both. “It’s like, ‘Ah, today I’ll get it.’ It happened that he would come to our house and we would hang out with Chica, playing and drinking coffee.”

Mari also addressed the criticism she’d heard for “taking” his house, explaining that as an excouple, they’re still busy training. “We split, I’ll buy his share [da casa]. “It’s all right,” he reported. “That was me [na casa]. It was our decision. We talked and that was it, the two decided. Phelipe has his apartment, great too, and he’s working on it there.
According to her, the two gave a different meaning to the relationship and are now good friends and continue to work together. “People expected there would be a big problem, but no,” he said. “It’s a difficult process to mean things in new ways, but we went through it together. So it was really nice to understand that our relationship is much bigger and very solid. Phelipe was my partner, I was his partner. We still are. It was much easier to get through this together.”
She also opened up about the hate mail she received after the relationship ended. “It’s a bit scary. Women used my father’s name to target me, like, ‘Your father would be ashamed of you,'” he said. “It’s very sad how sometimes we always focus on women, on women’s bodies, on women’s looks.”
