O President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyyon Sunday (23) called for an air shield covering the entire sky over Ukraine to protect the country from Russian missiles and called on the international community not to get used to Russia’s “terror”.

“Ukraine needs a full air defense shield: this is the only way to defeat Russian missile terror,” the Ukrainian president wrote in a Telegram message. He added that Ukraine has already demonstrated its ability to “shoot down even the Russian missiles that terrorists are bragging about”.

In addition, he emphasized that thanks to the help of partners and the air defense systems made available to Ukraine, “the air defense forces saved thousands of lives”. “But we need more air defense systems for our entire territory, for all our cities and towns. The world must not get used to Russian terror: terror must be defeated. And it’s possible!” he affirmed.

The military press center reported today, according to the Defense Ministry, that ten civilians died and another 43 were injured in attacks this Saturday (22) on ten regions of Ukraine, in which Russian forces opened fire on 133 settlements and 141 infrastructure targets.
