- Manchester United won 2-0 in a game that was anything but friendly
A new video has emerged showing Arsenal fans cheering during the team’s pre-season clash with Manchester United in the United States.
The Gunners suffered a 2-0 loss to Manchester United at the MetLife Stadium thanks to goals from Bruno Fernandes and Jadon Sancho.
However, the clash between the two old foes was a friendly in name only, where the game had a much greater competitive advantage.
That advantage appeared to extend into the stands as well, where a brawl broke out between Arsenal fans watching in New Jersey.
In a new video from a fan, seen in the same section as the altercations, several brawls can be seen in the stands, but one particular altercation in the stairwell escalates even further.

New footage shows the two fans, one of whom is wearing a blue Arsenal away shirt, in a heated argument in the stairwell that ends with one fan having blood running down his face.
It’s unclear what started the fight, but after the two cling to the ground, they eventually become separated and the altercation comes to an end.
The tension on the field was just as high. A late challenge by Lisandro Martinez against Bukayo Saka caused an uproar in the US and resulted in a minor scuffle until the Argentina star was separated from Gunner captain Martin Odegaard.
United were already 2-0 up but the centre-back made no compromises and shot high at the England striker.
When he nearly knocked out team-mate Kobbie Mainoo as well, the referee called for a free-kick and sent Martinez over for the tackle, but the 25-year-old was undeterred.

The likes of Mason Mount, William Saliba, and Luke Shaw all came to the scene, but eventually things calmed down.
The game saw a total of three yellow cards, with Harry Maguire being cautioned for Manchester United and Gabriel Jesus also receiving a yellow card in the game.
United will also play Wrexham, Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund in the US, with the Gunners set to take on Barcelona on Thursday morning having already beaten an MLS All-Star side.
