New seasons of The Walking Dead spin-offs will appear exclusively on Australian streaming service Stan in 2024.

The Walking Dead: Dead City and The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon have both been renewed for Season 2 and will be released in Australia on the same day as the US exclusively at Stan

A third new spin-off series, titled The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, following the return of fan favorites Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and Michonne (Danai Gurira), will also premiere exclusively on Stan in 2024.

The Walking Dead: Dead City follows former enemies Maggie Greene (Maggie Greene) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) as they fight their way through a zombie-filled Manhattan to save their son from a group of outlaws.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon follows the titular character’s journey after he unexpectedly washes up in France and has to find his way home.

As he journeys through a troubled but resilient country, he makes contacts along the way that may complicate his efforts to get home.

Daryl, played by Norman Reedus, is the longest serving character in The Walking Dead franchise, having first appeared in the original series which ran from 2010 to 2022.

Daryl Dixon will also star actors Clemence Poesy, Adam Nagaitis and Eriq Ebouaney.

Speaking of Daryl Dixon, McDerrmott added, “We are thrilled to support Daryl as we bring the apocalypse to France and transform Notre Dame, Pont du Gard and other iconic locations into an apocalyptic landscape unlike anything we have seen before.”

The brand new series The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon starts September 11th on Stan. The final episode of the first season of The Walking Dead: Dead City premieres on July 24th.
