Jamie Foxx on his illness: ‘I went to hell and back’

Famed actor Jamie Foxx, who was hospitalized after suffering a medical complication, required emergency room treatment last April.

The 55-year-old Oscar winner fought back tears as he spoke about his condition in the hospital.

“I went through something that I thought would never happen,” Foxx said to his more than 16 million followers. “I know a lot of people have been waiting to hear an update, but I honestly didn’t want them to see me in this state of health.”

“I always want to be seen laughing, having fun, partying, telling a joke, doing a movie or TV show. They didn’t want them to see me hooked up to hoses coming out of me trying to figure out if I was going to make it.

Foxx also congratulated his sister Deondra Dixon and daughter Corinne Foxx for saving his life: “I thank God I can leave this video to you and to many excellent doctors,” he added, while thanking his family for keeping the real cause of his health condition.

“I can’t put into words how good it feels when the family is so involved and how secretive they have been, they have not let anything get away and been protective of me and that’s what I hope everyone can have at times like this.” Now I can go back to work.

Relatives and relatives did not say what really happened, so he was hospitalized and in such a fragile state of health. It is known that his daughter Corinne said she fell ill in the middle of the production of the film “Back in Action”.

Despite this, the actor publicly thanked all his followers for their support, for being aware of his health and for all the love his fans expressed in the constant messages of encouragement and love.

As the actor wrote at the time of editing the video, explaining the situation, the actor wrote: “A billion thanks to everyone… it’s been a long road but everyone is great people and God has helped me get through this”, alongside thousands of comments expressing all their admiration, respect and affection and wishing him a speedy recovery.
